The Infor grid that is used on-prem (version 1.13 ) does not have support for getting the ION API token. We have requested that they push it down to older verions but this is new functionality and that request was turned down years ago, so it's not possible to call ION API from the H5 SDK.
You can only call IDM (since that is what was previously supported) if you have the IDM proxy installed and confugured.
This means that ION API calls from H5 SDK is not supported for On-prem M3. It is only supported in the Cloud Edition.
